Millstone Manor is a tranquil retreat situated in Upper Constantia, near the top of Hohenhort Avenue. The property is positioned on two acres of land, nestled against the mountain which allows access for hiking in the adjacent forest, extending right to the top of Table Mountain.

Upon entering the house, it is noticeable how much light permeates via the large glass wall and through into the well designed living accommodation. The reception areas flow one into another, in an open plan style which allows a feeling of space whilst also providing a choice of places to sit and relax. Wide, glass sliding doors take you from various parts of the house out onto the decking area which looks over towards the pool and beautiful garden.

The kitchen has windows that let in the afternoon light and it leads onto the dining area which has glass doors leading to the outside. The large deck offers a variety of magical places to relax and read or have a refreshing drink. The beautiful pool is situated here and has a delightful view across the lush garden.

The main house has four double bedrooms, two of which are en-suite.

This is a perfect entertaining space with plenty of parking and good security.

Indoor dining room has seating for twelve guests.

There is a second informal lounge available offering a large space for family and friends to unwind together.

The villa has its very own art gallery as well as use of an office (on request).

The master bedroom has air conditioning and a king size bed. There is an en-suite bathroom which has a bath and the unique feature of a glass panelled shower offering views of the mountain. From the master suite there is direct access out onto a deck also with beautiful mountain views.

Bedroom 2 has air conditioning and a queen size bed with en-suite. The room has a desk, reading chair and footstool and there is access to the deck with its mountain views.

Bedroom 3 has air conditioning and a queen size bed. There is a desk and reading ledge and the room has views of the mountain.

Bedroom 4 has air conditioning, a double bed and desk. There is access to the deck with sea, garden and mountain views.

The garden is planted with many beautiful mature trees including oaks and plane trees which make the area lush and give shade and privacy.

The pool has two sun loungers and there is a covered seating area for four people.

Constantia is an affluent, semi-rural suburb of Cape Town situated about 15 kilometres south of the centre of Cape Town and 22km from the Cape Town International Airport. It is considered to be one of the most prestigious suburbs in South Africa.

The area is a major tourist hub outside of the central city area. Constantia is a well-known wine-producing area and one of the oldest in the southern hemisphere. It is home to at least ten esteemed wine farms, eight of which are included in an official wine route. Numerous operators offer tours of the Constantia wine route where visitors can take part in wine tastings at the farms. In addition to wine, many Constantia estates also include fine dining restaurants offering both local and international fare.
